In just five years, Golf & Leisure Group, with the support of HMH Golf & Leisure, has achieved remarkable success by acquiring two highly profitable golf clubs: Bristol Golf Centre in 2020 and now the impressive 3 Hammers Golf Complex in Wolverhampton.
Meanwhile, in April, the 3 Hammers Complex was honored with the prestigious title of ‘Golf Facility of the Year’ at the England Golf Awards, a testament to excellence and dedication in the sport.

The two golf venues exhibit numerous similarities. Each venue features adventure golf parks and driving ranges enhanced with advanced driving range technologies, namely Toptracer and Inrange Golf.
While 3 Hammers Golf Complex‘s daily operations will remain consistent, plans are underway to incorporate several recent renovations to the range successfully implemented at Bristol Golf Centre.
These enhancements have significantly improved customers’ range experience.
Carl Tomlin, Managing Director of Golf & Leisure Group, explains:
“Our new ball delivery system, automated Tee-Ups and Multiplayer game offerings are pretty unique and add a completely different dimension to the customer experience in Bristol. We want to bring innovative ideas like this to 3 Hammers Golf Complex.”
It is my understanding that Golf & Leisure Group’s objective in pursuing this acquisition is to capitalize on the growing trend of shorter golfing experiences, with an emphasis on playing nine holes rather than a full round, as well as the increasing popularity of indoor golf facilities.
Interesting highlights about the 3 Hammers Golf Complex:
For nearly four decades, 3 Hammers Golf Complex has led the way in developing innovative technologies and designing unique outreach programs within the golf industry.
This organization has played a significant role in starting the careers of numerous individuals, including prominent Tour player Aaron Rai and popular internet figures Me and My Golf.
