Atlas Turf International and Pure Seed are pleased to announce the commencement of full-scale production of STRATIS™ with ACCe™ Technology, marking the introduction of the first-ever herbicide-resistant seeded seashore paspalum.
Developed through the expertise of Pure-Seed Testing, STRATIS signifies a significant advancement in turfgrass innovation, providing turf managers with unparalleled control over invasive grasses while ensuring the development of resilient, sustainable, and high-performing playing surfaces.
STRATIS with ACCe integrates the established efficacy of Pure Seed’s seeded paspalum with ACCe herbicide-resistance technology from the University of Georgia (UGA).
This allows for selective management of unwanted grass species, such as bermudagrass, crabgrass, and goosegrass.

The technology is compatible with ACCe-inhibiting herbicides, including sethoxydim, fenoxaprop, fluazifop-butyl, and pinoxaden, thereby enabling turf professionals to maintain clean, pure stands with enhanced efficiency and confidence.
STRATIS’s benefits
STRATIS presents a comprehensive set of high-performance features that make it an excellent choice for various applications.
Its remarkable resistance to salt and wear, coupled with strong disease tolerance, results in a vibrant deep green color and a fine-to-medium texture with tight density, all of which contribute to creating a premium playing surface.
This adaptability across mowing heights makes STRATIS perfect for use on greens, tees, fairways, roughs, sports fields, and landscaped areas.
The integration of ACCe technology in STRATIS is especially beneficial for new course construction and renovation projects.
Traditionally, managing weedy grasses during establishment has necessitated fumigation or extensive site preparation.
However, the built-in herbicide resistance of STRATIS enables turf managers to maintain purity using standard control methods, promoting sustainability and ensuring compliance in regions where fumigants are restricted.
STRATIS Seeded Paspalum with ACCe Technology is available exclusively through Atlas Turf International, Pure Seed, and their licensed distributors.
It’s important to note that supply for the remainder of 2025 is limited, with additional inventory anticipated in 2026.
