The 3 Hammers Golf Complex in Coven has reached a significant milestone by winning the prestigious title of ‘Golf Facility of the Year’ at the England Golf Awards on Wednesday.
This award highlights the venue’s commitment to inclusivity, inviting atmosphere, and wide range of offerings.
It also emphasizes its vital role in the local community and its commitment to supporting the growth of golf and golfers.
This recognition follows shortly after the venue earned a bronze award in the new business category at the Staffordshire Tourism Awards, marking an impressive beginning for this promising establishment.

Over the past 39 years, the 3 Hammers Golf Complex has established itself as a pioneering venue and a leader in the industry, offering outstanding facilities.
By offering a variety of golf formats and non-golf activities, the complex has become a valuable asset to the local community, attracting golfers from across the region.
The dedicated 3 Hammers Golf Complex team actively engages in community outreach initiatives, partnering with schools, underprivileged youth, and disability groups.
A notable recent effort includes creating pathways into golf for the National Autistic Society.
In the past year alone, more than 1,000 children from local schools have benefited from complimentary sessions at Jurassic Creek, the 18-hole adventure golf course at the 3 Hammers Golf Complex.
3 Hammers Golf Complex is made up of
- Jurassic Creek, a dinosaur-themed Adventure Golf course,
- a Par 3 course,
- Toptracer Driving Range,
- Bistro,
- Learn to Play area and
- Golf Academy – all managed from a central reception desk where everyone receives the same warm welcome.

Sustainability is also about social responsibility.
To increase the sport’s value for local communities, we must emphasize initiatives that encourage accessibility, inclusivity, and diversity.
Furthermore, we should prioritize fair treatment and suitable rewards for staff and employees.
Our commitment includes delivering enhanced community value by ensuring the facility and the surrounding area are accessible.
We should partner with local community organizations and educational institutions on collaborative projects, create opportunities for volunteering and lifelong learning, and support charitable efforts and community initiatives.
In my opinion, 3 Hammers Golf Complex excels in sustainability efforts. However, I didn’t notice any information regarding enhancements to employee experience.
Without this focus, elevating customer experience becomes challenging. Have you come across any updates on this? If so, please share in the comments!
