Yesterday, I wrote about how technology is impacting on golf. So I thought you might be interested in Ecco‘s new golf shoes. I can promise you will not have to expand your golf course size. If I have to summarize what are the 3 most important innovations of the new Ecco Cage Evo golf shoes then these are:
- A unique, one-piece, DIP stability cage that wraps from the heel through the midsole and across the toe box;
- An anatomical outsole design that aligns and moves in unison with the foot’s essential ligaments and muscles;
- ECCO Freedom Fit which combines a snug heel setting with a roomier forefoot area that allows toes to move naturally.
If I compare Ecco Cage Evo with FootJoy’s Hyperflex then I feel in deadlock. Besides the shoe soles, I cannot find significant differences. Personally, the anatomical outsole design more convincing than FootJoy’s Laser Plus Last. Or is this just the question wording?
What do you think?
