Can TaylorMade revolutionize the club fitting experience at The Grove?

By: October 16, 2025

I believe that the future of service (e.g., golf club fitting, driving range experience, golf club membership) should always be human-centered but also data-driven and tech-enabled.

Personalization of golf clubs is moving beyond simply trying shafts and heads. In many places, we can find AI, sensors, motion capture, and deeper data analytics to support personalization.

This opportunity is open to all, not just the giants in the golf industry! A shining example is Wilson Fit AI, showcasing how innovative solutions can empower everyone. Wilson’s data from all fitters globally feeds back into improving the AI.

Today’s fitting setups also incorporate tools that capture body movement—rotation, tempo, attack angle, face angle—along with club data and ball flight, transforming decisions about lie angle, shaft flex, and head design into informed choices.

With databases of thousands of shafts, heads, and swing types, alongside historical fitting data, recommendations become remarkably precise.

They skillfully match shaft-head combinations that are proven to excel based on a golfer’s swing speed, attack angle, and smash factor, inspiring a new level of performance.

The speed, attack angle, and smash factor inspire a new level of performance.

Brands like TaylorMade should empower golfers to reach their goals. I would urge brands to plan for the post-purchase stage too, thereby making golfers’ lives easier.

Callaway Golf is strategically expanding its tour-level elite fitting experience to encompass all Five Iron Golf locations.

This initiative allows Five Iron’s experienced golf coaches to facilitate fittings tailored to the specific needs of each golfer.

The pricing for Callaway Tour Fittings is set at $99 per hour, making it a more economical option than typical boutique fittings and increasing accessibility to high-quality fitting services for a broader audience.

TaylorMade‘s The Kingdom at The Grove

I believe that what TaylorMade will introduce at The Grove starting in spring 2026 will be significantly more advanced and practical.

The Kingdom at The Grove is poised to become an exceptional destination for Tour players, emerging talent, elite amateurs, and passionate golfers to fully engage with the TaylorMade brand, its products, and its team.

This innovative facility will boast highly skilled and experienced fitters who will utilize cutting-edge technology such as

  • Trackman,
  • Foresight Golf Simulator,
  • GEARS is a golf motion analysis and body tracking system used by PGA pros, club fitters, and club manufacturers to measure and analyze every nuance of a swing. Experience your golf swing in slow-motion capture, displayed in glorious 3D, from address to follow-through.
  • Quintic is a high-speed camera-based putting analysis tool used by professionals and amateurs for data-driven improvement.

Golfers will have the opportunity to test the entire range of TaylorMade products, closely mirroring the offerings available at TaylorMade’s US headquarters.

All this will be in a visually striking, sustainable building that serves multiple purposes. It will feature

  • three state-of-the-art fitting bays,
  • a putting studio, and
  • a custom workshop that foster skill development and creativity.

Additionally, the facility includes a lounge and a locker room for relaxation and convenience.

Built with a sturdy timber structure, the building incorporates hidden solar panels on the roof, effectively reducing its carbon footprint and promoting environmental responsibility.

Further changes at The Grove

In addition to the new state-of-the-art building, the entire driving range at The Grove is being reconstructed by Kyle Phillips Golf Course Design.

The new grass driving range at The Kingdom will be around 7.4 acres and 320 yards (293 metres) long, with a 600 square meter teeing area in front of the building.

The Kingdom at The Grove will also benefit from a redesigned 4,000 sq metre short game area, enabling golfers to dial in their exact wedge setup.

During the build process, around 40 new trees will be planted in the surrounding areas, while the entire facility at The Grove will be 8.5 acres of pure golfing paradise.
