What are the recent leadership changes at John Deere?

Deere & Company has announced significant leadership changes as part of its ongoing commitment to advancing its Smart Industrial Strategy.

This strategy focuses on delivering intelligent, connected machines and solutions designed to enhance the economic value for customers.

John May, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Deere & Company, stated,

Effective November 3, Deanna Kovar has been appointed President of the Worldwide Agriculture & Turf Division, specifically overseeing Production and Precision Agriculture, as well as the Americas and Australian markets.

In this capacity, she will be responsible for major equipment and technological solutions for production-scale agriculture, which includes large tractors, as well as harvesting and crop care equipment.

Before this appointment, Kovar served as President of the company’s Small Agriculture & Turf business.

Justin Rose will take on the role of President of the Worldwide Agriculture & Turf Division: Small Agriculture and Turf, with responsibilities encompassing the European, African, and Asian markets.

He will oversee equipment and technology solutions specifically designed to support small agricultural and turf customers on a global scale, including small tractors, compact utility tractors, hay and forage equipment, and turf care equipment.

Rose previously held the position of President of Lifecycle Solutions, Supply Management, and Customer Success for Deere.

Additionally, Cory Reed has been appointed President of Lifecycle Solutions, Supply Management, and Customer Success.

In this role, Reed will oversee John Deere’s global aftermarket, customer support, supply chain, precision upgrades, and business transformation initiatives, with a focus on delivering exceptional value and support to customers worldwide.

He previously served as President of the Production and Precision Agriculture business.
