Wow, can you believe it’s already been ten amazing years? It feels like just yesterday when I met the inspiring Elisa Gaudet (Founder of Women’s Golf Day) at the PGA Show in Orlando back in 2015!
She was bursting with enthusiasm about her plans, and it’s thrilling to see how far we’ve come since then.
More and more people and golf clubs are realizing the incredible benefits of getting women involved in golf—it’s absolutely a win for everyone!

10th Women’s Golf Day Celebration Worldwide
The festivities ignited on social media with WGD Palooza, showcasing an inspiring interview with Tour star Suzann Petersen about her exciting new venture, Voxa.

Asia
- Accordia, Japan’s leading Multi Course Operator, hosted Women’s Golf Day at 8 of its properties across the country.
- The Japan Golf Association has adopted Women’s Golf Day and its ethos, playing a pivotal role in the growth of Women’s Golf Day, with a total of 94 Women’s Golf Day events scheduled in Japan this year.
- In the UAE, the Women’s Golf Day Ambassador hosted her annual event at GOLFTEC Dubai – a fabulous indoor learning facility that engaged new and existing golfers, a perfect spot to escape the heat, learn, and celebrate.
Africa
- In Uganda, one of the emerging African golfing nations to adopt Women’s Golf Day, several events took place, including those at the Toro Club and the Entebbe Golf Club.
- La Belle Mare in Mauritius enjoyed an incredible turnout, with women from across the island joining together to celebrate.
Europe
- At Royal Ascot Golf Club in the UK, Women’s Golf Day’s travel partner, Golfbreaks, hosted an event that was a great success, with members and new golfers coming together to learn and play.
- Spain had several notable events this year, including La Cala Resort’s signature event, which featured amazing photos and activations, as well as The Range Marbella.
- In France, the Evian Resort Golf Academy is arguably one of the most picturesque Women’s Golf Day events, offering women a taste of the amazing golf facility in the lead-up to the Evian Championship, which takes place from July 10 to 13, 2025.
- Binow Park and The Olympic Club in Poland both hosted events with over 100 women in 2025.
- One of the most remote Women’s Golf Day events, and a newcomer for 2025, took place at Ålands Golfklubb on the Åland Islands, Finland, which hosted an event alongside the Nordic Women´s Amateur Invitational Competition.
- Marco Simone, the host venue of the 2023 Ryder Cup in Italy, had yet another huge turnout for its WGD event, which has become a staple of the local golf calendar.
- In Montenegro, the National Golf Association utilized WGD to host an event welcoming women to the driving range in the Kolašin village of Lipovo, which will soon become the first golf course in northern Montenegro.
North America
- Canada: At the impressive LaunchPad Golf Heritage Pointe, and an adult community in Brampton Ontario, held its first-ever Women’s Golf Day event to introduce residents to golf.
- USA: at PGA Field Ranch, home of the PGA of America, and Omni PGA Frisco, which Elisa Gaudet attended along with 80 women of all golfing abilities. Dobson Ranch in Arizona hosted 350 women at its 3rd annual Women’s Golf Day event, which attracts women from across the region every year.
- USA: In Augusta, The Augusta Ranch Golf Club, owned by Don Rea, President of the PGA of America, hosted an evening event.
- USA: Pinehurst Resort, a veteran of Women’s Golf Day events, hosted over 100 women at their WGD 2025 event in which women played No. 1 and No. 3. Photos show nothing but smiles for miles at this Pinehurst experience.
- In Dallas, Texas, at Pine Ridge Golf Club, owner Cathy Harbin, who is also the President of the NGCOA and a long-time WGD Ambassador, hosted her annual Women’s Golf Day event, welcoming new and existing attendees.
- The Toro Company partnered with WGD and hosted an event at Toro’s Minnesota HQ for female employees, followed by a social meet-up.
- In Hazleton, Pennsylvania, WGD Founder Elisa Gaudet’s mother, Marie, hosted her annual event at Eagle Rock Resort, where women from every decade, aged 40-90, played together in a fantastic sold-out event showcasing how golf crosses the generations and is a family affair.

- In Panama at The Summit Golf Club, the Asociacion de Golfe Panama held a Women’s Golf Day event for the 2nd time.
- The stunning Moorea Green Pearl in French Polynesia, which was hosting its 5th event.
- The Dominican Republic always brings the party and fun to their WGD events, now in its 8th year of hosting over 80 women. Lisette DeSantos, WGD Ambassador and WGD Inspire Action award recipient, oversaw two events at the Centro Español and the Santo Domingo Country Club.
