Stephen Chick has been appointed as General Manager, while Asmitha Sathish joins the club’s elite team of PGA Professionals as Assistant PGA Professional.

With more than 15 years of international golf management experience, Stephen Chick brings a wealth of expertise and a proven record of success across multiple regions, including the UK, the Middle East, China, Thailand, and Myanmar.
Before joining Laguna Golf Phuket, Stephen served as General Manager at Pun Hlaing Golf Club in Yangon, where he led the club to record growth and cemented its position as Myanmar’s leading golf destination.
A British PGA Professional, Stephen is widely recognised for his strategic leadership, operational excellence, and commitment to service quality.
His passion for developing the game of golf across Southeast Asia aligns perfectly with Laguna Golf Phuket’s vision of fostering a world-class golfing community in Thailand.

Joining him on the team is Asmitha Sathish, who brings both competitive experience and instructional expertise to her new role.
A Certified Leadbetter Golf Instructor, Asmitha joins Laguna Golf Phuket from the Golfzon Leadbetter Academy in Indonesia.
As a professional golfer, she has competed on the Ladies European Tour and the WPGA Australasia Tour, showcasing her dedication and skill at the highest levels of the sport.
Currently pursuing a PGA Foundation Degree in Professional Golf Studies and Business Management from the University of Birmingham, Asmitha represents the next generation of golf professionals—combining education, athletic experience, and a passion for teaching.
Her appointment reflects Laguna Golf Phuket’s ongoing commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting women’s golf across Asia.
