I am just kidding. 🙂 Actually I found four golfers with a combined age of 330. They have accumulated a total of 182 years' membership at Mannings Heath Golf Club, Horsham – and they still play regular golf together.
Ron Barber, Alan Wild, Denis Bews and Fred Cotton are all more than 80 and had their first game as a four-ball 31 years ago.
I am pretty happy to see these men who prefer active life instead of idleness. Those who think there is no life over 50, I have tell them that they are wrong.
By the way, Mannings Heath is a member only, par 72 golf club. Harry Colt-influenced 6,683-yard Waterfall Course stands on land where golf has been played since the very early 1900s.
