Today’s elite golf travelers crave unique experiences that are authentic to the destination. Authenticity is crucial across all sectors in delivering exceptional experiences and preventing uniformity/sameness.

However, beyond this, the focus should shift towards tailoring personalized experiences to accommodate individual preferences.

Digital transformation and effectively utilizing the resulting data are pivotal components in this endeavor. Enhanced insights into our guests enable us to deliver increasingly personalized services.

Wellness and well-being services have been in demand since 2019 (at least). The statistics show that the demand for these services has significantly increased since 2022.

At the same time, there is also a growing number of health-conscious individuals. According to the Global Wellness Institute:

“The wellness tourism market is forecast to more than double from 2022 to 2027, with dramatic spending jumps from 2022 ($651 billion) to 2023 ($868 billion) to 2024 ($1 trillion), as the market continues its supercharged recovery.”

Delivering memorable hospitality experiences relies on the personal touch, which means addressing the talent challenge.

It is not a secret that attracting and keeping great employees has become a major post-pandemic challenge for many golf clubs.

We must improve our employee and internal communication and commitment to employee experience enhancement to retain our best employees. From now on, this should be a top priority from the top down.
