High membership retention rate at Brocket Hall

I know that I tend to be critic. So I thought this time I will come up with a positive news from UK. Brocket Hall Golf Club will be able to start with a positive attitude regarding 2014 based on their previous year's performance.

Brocket Hall Golf Club improved in customer service as much that they were rewarded at the recent annual 59Club awards. It was one of only three members' clubs to receive the Silver Flag award.

Brocket Hall Golf Club achieved a golf industry-high membership retention rate of 98% over the past 12 months and added 61 new members. As a result, total golf club membership revenue grew by 12.3% while joining fee revenue rose by 48% during 2013.

As the biennial England Golf Golf Club Membership Questionnaire 2012 has found that more and more golf clubs are trying to recruit corporate golfers, Brocket Hall is good example of it. Brocket Hall reported about signifcant improvement in its corporate golf business (in 2013 it was the highest since 2007).

I don't want to reinvent the wheel, but corporate golf club membership can be done in the same manner as gym membership. I think this is one of the major trends in the golf industry since 2010.
