I have just heard that La Manga Club received a double nomination at the 1st World Golf Awards, which will be held in Portugal in November 15. The ceremony will be in the Conrad Algarve, Quinta do Lago. We will be able to vote for the World Golf Awards until October 6.
La Manga Club’s South Course has been shortlisted to be named as Spain’s Best Golf Course, while its five-star Hotel Principe Felipe is among the nominees to be voted Spain’s Best Golf Hotel.
La Manga Club was voted by readers of Today’s Golfer magazine as the best golf resort in Spain for the last three years. It is all nice, but to receive similar recognition from Golf Monthly readers would be better as the magazine is more prestigious and has almost twice (cca. 459,000) as much readers than Today's Golfer has (cca. 270,000).
