think golf clubs can be a good place for charity events. Just to understand better why here are some interesting stats:
- Troon Golf $12,609,533 for charities in 2014;
- Brocket Hall in the UK held various charity events: Sparks, Willow, Future for Kids, Beefy's Charity Foundation.
To follow these positive examples, I am happy to report about the success of Classic Club Golf who raised over $5 million, including the annual Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament that raised $1.12 million alone for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital last year.
Classic Club Golf is a unique golf club. Its primary goal is to enable charities to maximize the money raised for their respective causes through golf tournaments and events held at the golf club's Bellatrix Restaurant. Classic Club is owned by the H. N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation. The foundation is well known for its generosity.
I must admit, this is the first time when I hear about such a golf club that its primary goal is to facilitate charity. Great respect to them!!
