The Les Bordes Golf Club’s New Course is ready to impress you!

By: July 15, 2021

I’m so glad we got to this big day when Les Bordes Golf Club’s New Course (Gil Hanse design) is ready for playing. This is Gil Hanse’s first golf course design project in continental Europe at the start of this month.

In direct contrast to Les Bordes Golf Club‘s Old Course, the New Course features a more traditional heathland style. When combined with the 10-hole short course – the Wild Piglet, also created by Hanse and opened in 2020 – Les Bordes Golf Club members will receive one of the greatest golfing experiences in the world.

Gil Hanse said

“The golf facilities at Les Bordes Golf Club are on a par with anywhere else in the world. When you consider the variety and contrast of the Old and New, the originality and quality of design coupled with the Wild Piglet and Himalayas putting green, across the board there are outstanding facilities for serious golf and fun golf – and there are very few places who can say that.”

Multi-generational holiday at Les Bordes Golf Club

Three years ago I highlighted the multi-generational holidays. This trend is still relevant in 2021 as we will try to spend more time with our family that we could not do in 2020 due to the pandemic.

The Les Bordes Golf Club offers various experiences and services for multi-generational holidays and pastimes. The French club is following the example of

Noteworthy trends to consider!

To be able to manage and handle troublesome times like the COVID-19 pandemic, or global/local financial crisis, golf clubs like Les Bordes Golf Club should really focus on why they exist and who they are built to serve.

This is also true when you are defining the reasons for being part of your employee experience strategy development.

I know ROI and profitability are really crucial, but your customers’, employees’, and business partners’ experience with you are even more important!

Think about how you can harness your customers’ passion to strengthen your loyalty and engagement strategies via their innovation and advocacy.
