Yesterday 5 of the world's best golfers (Bubba Watson, Martin Kaymer, Adam Scott, Justin Rose and Rickie Fowler) opened the 10th anniversary of WGC-HSBC Champions. As part of the opening ceremony they received traditional Chinese lanterns from 5 young local golfers from the HSBC Junior Golf Program.
In my previous post I have already written who will be participating in this competition. However it is worth to mention since it explains that this more than just HSBC sponsored championship what are the qualification criterias:
- winning a key tournament on their Tours or
- being ranked in the world's top 50.
