Green Golf Partners currently manages 18 public and private golf courses located across five states, including Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
Green Golf Partners was founded in 2011 in cooperation with HG Golf Properties (founded by Tom Rodems in 1997).
Rodems sold his interest in Green Golf to McIntee in 2016, and today he’s a principal of Savoy, Ill.,-based Rodems Golf Management. Matt McIntee, Green Golf’s CEO and majority owner.
McIntee started in golf management at Crown Golf Properties, a Chicago-based firm.
Green Golf Partner’s annual revenue was around $20 million in 2015. The latest news about the company is that Troon has acquired Green Golf Partners.
Over the last 10 months, Troon acquired 4 companies, including:
- Cliff Drysdale Management – in July 2018: 30 locations.
- RealFood, a Boston-based foodservice consulting firm (since 1996), in February 2019. It still operates under the RealFood brand name. The Founder Ed Doyle remained the president of the company.
RealFood has opened over 400 restaurants. - OB Sports Golf Management in early April 2019.
