Troon has been selected to manage the Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. The golf club was carved from 800 acres of prime Southwest Florida real estate. It features two 18-hole, Greg Norman-designed golf courses, the Gold and the Black. The Tiburón Golf Club is home to the PGA Tour’s Franklin Templeton Shootout and the LPGA Tour’s CME Group Tour Championship.

The Tiburón Golf Club is also certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary (an education and certification program) by Audubon International (quite similar to the Golf Environment Organization), Audubon International’s Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary program helps golf courses protect our environment and preserve the natural heritage of the game of golf.

Tiburon’s Gold course opened in 1998 and the Black course opened in 2001. The semi-private club has 260 golf members and is home to the Impact Zone Golf Academy (using use of TrackMan radar and Foresight launch monitor technologies, high-speed cameras, swing catalyst video and patented force plate technology) which features private lessons, multi-day golf schools and junior camps.

The 295-room The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples sits adjacent to the two award-winning courses, while the 450-room Ritz-Carlton Beach Resort is just a few miles away. Both luxury properties are owned by Host Hotels & Resorts and guests at these properties enjoy preferred access to Tiburón Golf Club.
