Early this month a new luxorious golf course was opened in the Maldives, the Velaa Private Island. You will not believe, but the developers of the golf course asked José María Olazábal to help them in designing the golf course. The golf course will be managed by Troon Golf (they also planned a floating golf course in the very same region that supposed to be launched next year).
The golf course itself has been designed with iron play very much in mind. Thanks to the landscape we will be able to do all the shots imaginable, from mid-irons to wedges and short-game.
Next to the golf course there will be 48 private pool villas as well.
