By: February 7, 2015

In the last 4 months Clubessential and ClubSoft worked on finalizing the conditions of the acquisition. Now it is official that Clubessential acquired ClubSoft, creating probably the most powerful information technology vendor in the club market with 115 US based staff members and 1,300 clients.

Both John McConnell, owner of McConnell Golf, and Ray McDonald, ClubSoft CEO, will join the Clubessential board, McDonald will also join the management team as the VP of Sales & Marketing.

As I see, Clubessential really needed ClubSoft's certain services to be able to provide full-service to its private golf club clients. From now on Clubessential will also be able to provide:

  • Employee resource management,
  • Staff timekeeping,
  • Inventory management,
  • Retail POS
  • Accounts payable,
  • F&B POS.
  • Payroll,
  • Customized financial reporting,

The two companies have created a unified suite. Later this year they expect to add two more important systems that create new categories of products never seen before.
