How Contra Costa Country Club helps you to be disconnected?

Last week Troon had been selected to manage the Contra Costa Country Club located in the Bay Area in Pleasant Hill, California.

The club’s 18-hole golf course has been redesigned in 2014 by Robert Trent Jones II, The changes are said to be in line with the 1925 original intent of architect A. Vernon Macan. The turf has been eliminated and the greens have been rebuilt as per USGA standards.

With a 40-yard deep, full-grass tee box, extended range area, and 20 spacious hitting stalls, members enjoy plenty of room to sharpen their skills. Also included in the new practice facility are dedicated putting and chipping greens and a variety of bunkers and a hard-lie practice area.

It was great to hear that Contra Costa Country Club will utilize reclaimed water while also respecting the need to remove areas from play with a return to native grassing. According to Golf Course Industry Magazine, golf course maintenance costs have been escalating at a rapid pace between 2012-2015, especially water costs.

In 2016 it is sad to find in golf club, even it is a private golf club that mobile phones are not allowed to use in clubhouse, locker rooms, and golf pro shops. This should be changed for the sake of better service and customer experience. Otherwise, Contra Costa Country Club will lose many business opportunities.
