It is time to say goodbye to paper-based scorecards and golf tournaments. Nothing justifies their usage in the era of smartphones. The progressive golf clubs have already started the digital transformation of their golf club operations.
The pandemic forced many interactions to go online (e.g. online golf lessons via WhatsApp). I am not expecting that we/golfers we will return to our old habits and customs after the pandemic. We enjoy the usefulness provided by technology solutions and digital services.
Golfers’ expectations will not go to retreat to a previous state with regard to ease and convenience.
