How Titleist missed an opportunity…

I have just received an eDM from Titleist via Golf.com, about Titleist V1x golf ball. I started to analyze this ad and to figure out what is the objective of this campaign? To raise brand awareness and image? To drive new sales? In both cases they should have emphasized the brand site's URL or simply say as a call to action: "For details click here" or "Learn more about Titleist V1x" in a red box. In case of brand building campaign I would also add a social sharing button (e.g. Addthis.com) to facilitate word of mouth. Last but not least I would use only 1 testimonial picture, because it is easier to focus on one.
