Last week Mizuno announced the launch of PX-850 Fairway Woods and JPX-850 Hybrids, featuring Mizuno’s new Shock Wave Sole™ Technology and Quick Switch® Technology. The new Mizuno golf clubs will be available from November 7, 2014.
Mizuno believes that Shock Wave Sole™ Technology will be able to provide greater club head flex on impact thus delivering more of the energy from the swing to the ball for increased distance.
We can find in the Mizuno's JPX-850 fairway woods and JPX-850 hybrids, a strategic weight shift of additional mass in the club head to the front and back adjusts the center of gravity (COG), increasing sweet area for easier launch on strikes direct from the turf.
Chuck Couch, Vice President of Product Development, Golf Division, Mizuno USA said: “With the JPX-850 woods, golfers are going to hit long range shots with a much higher launch angle, allowing them to go for the pin more aggressively than ever before.”
JPX-850 Fairway Woods
JPX-850 Fairway Woods are utilizing a HOT METAL face design with an ultra-thin maraging steel for solid feel and explosive distance. Providing the maximum allowable limit of COR by the USGA, JPX-850 Fairway Woods utilize a Waffle Crown Design™ for greater COR area and increased ball speeds.
