Etiqus at the recent Golf Trade Show at Harrogate announced that they have raised £10,000 for the Golf Foundation (a leading golf charity). The £10,000 raised will be spent on the Golf Foundation’s national HSBC Golf Roots program which grows golf participation among young people and offers the ‘Skills for Life’ benefits for which the sport is known.
Etiqus donated £5 of every timepiece sold + encouraged golfers to donate to the charity when purchasing a watch.
An interesting outlook: According to Steve Mona (CEO of the World Golf Foundation), in 2014, in the US, golf’s annual charitable impact was of about $4 billion per year through 143,000 events and 12 million participants.
