Here comes the new members of Scotty Cameron Futura X line, the Scotty Cameron Futura X7 and X7M putters (M stands for MOI). Scotty Cameron and his team bring us their new putter that is utilizing innovative face-sole core technology with advanced perimeter weighting to increase stability and forgiveness throughout the stroke, while providing easy alignment and a soft, sure feel. The new Scotty Camerion Futura X7 and X7M come with larger, multi-material constructions that make alignment simple. The multi-material construction moves weight out and back for improved MOI and greater stability. Thanks to these changes the putter has a bigger sweet spot and higher MOI. Futura X7 is 10% larger than Futura X5.
Each Futura X7 model features a lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum face-sole core surrounded by a precision-milled stainless steel frame. The new Futura X7M features a unique bar-back mallet design that moves weight farther behind the putter face for higher MOI.
The Futura X7M Dual Balance combines the X7M head design with Dual Balance technology. Futura X7M Dual Balance has a 50-gram heavier head (400 grams total) and a 50-gram counterweight in the butt of the shaft. Dual Balance putters have a standard length of 38 inches with a 15-inch grip that allows the player to grip down below the counterweight for a more stable stroke.
The new Scotty Cameron Futura X7 and X7M putters will be available in stores beginning October 23, 2015.
