What happens when a regular golf car is not enough?

By: January 25, 2016

Last year, I had already talked about the importance of mobile connectivity in golf club operations (e.g. Powerscourt Golf Club, Las Colinas Golf Club) to improve the communication among employees, but also to help golfers to communicate better with the clubhouse. This is not just about mobile applications, beacons, wearables, but also about golf carts (see the above-mentioned examples).

In 2016, the shift toward the tech-friendly work routine and mobile connectivity will continue. Thus, providing mobile connectivity for our staff and golf club members will be inevitable. This supposed to lead to higher adoption of VoIP and web and cloud-based capabilities.

How St. Andrews Links Trust is adopting mobile connectivity?

I must admit, that I am a big supporter of GPS Industries’ Visage (a joint venture with Club Car). This why I think it is important to share with you the news that the St. Andrews Links Trust has selected Club Car as their official supplier.

Their new fleet comprises of dependable Carryall utility vehicles and efficient Precedent golf cars, all featuring the latest connected technology, Guardian 2.
