I’ve got a feeling that from now on not just drivers, but irons will have light weight. But how can we achieve that without sacrificing such crucial KPIs as forgiveness and distance?
What can Big Bertha OS irons offer?
The new Big Bertha OS Irons come with a new clubhead construction, called the Exo-Cage, that promotes more distance in an entirely new way. The Exo-Cage’s extraordinary combination of strength and light weight allows Callaway engineers to distribute more discretionary weight into strategic locations to promote more forgiveness and allows our next-generation 360 Face Cup technology to function more efficiently. The result is more ball speed across the face to give you more distance on every swing.
Big Bertha OS Hybrids deliver explosive distance and ultimate forgiveness thanks to a deeper body, larger and faster face, and a next-generation Hyper Speed Face Cup. It’s a hybrid that’s super easy to launch high and long.
The Big Bertha OS Irons will be available at a retail price of $1,099 for a steel set, and $1,299 for a graphite set. The Big Bertha OS Hybrids will be available at a price of $249 each. The new Big Berth OS irons will be available at retail from 9/30/2016.
