Probably you have noticed that I rarely write reviews of golf apparel lines. This time I have to make an exception. Adidas Golf presented me an impressive new golf apparel line, the adiPure. The line was introduced to the world by Justin Rose at the year’s first major in Augusta.
adiPure is not just a golf apparel line, but also a footwear. It will be available from July 1st, 2017.
adidas Golf is very mysterious regarding the fabrics of their new golf apparel line. What is sure that adidas Golf understands well the importance of image-centric marketing.
It is just a question of time when golf equipment and apparel manufacturers convert video and photo into direct sales channels. Probably, you have already met with Shopify and Pinterest joint solution that enable Pinterest users to buy products without leaving the Pinterest mobile application.
We can also see many solutions that enable retailers to sell on Instagram (e.g. Soldsie, Liketoknow.it, Like2Buy, Shopseen, Candid.io etc.) as well.
It is a good way to bridge the gap between desire and purchase. Think about interactive shopping videos and other two-way solution that can facilitate conversation and sales.
To enhance further the customer experience, I would add also a digital queue mobile application service to your shops to save time for customers. This is not something totally new. I have already met such applications in other industries (e.g. financial services)
Finally, it would be wise also to use social media data and consumer insight for better advertising campaigns and communication.
