As you can imagine plenty of golf ball concepts are rising day by day at golf equipment manufacturers.
The Titleist Golf Ball Research & Development team is comprised of more than 75 associates.
Now they can be happy as the new Titleist EXP01 golf ball concept passed the rigorous tests.
The R&D process for Titleist EXP01 golf ball continues October 1, when a one-time, limited run will be made available to golf shops in the U.S. and Canada.
The Titleist EXP01 golf ball is being released as part of the Titleist EXP Project. Titleist wants to give the opportunity to experience new golf ball technologies still in the experimental phase.
This kind of technique is well-known in other industries as well to test products and markets.
Such an offer adds urgency and drives desire! This is in line with Daniel Kahneman’s Loss Aversion Theory.
People tend to prefer avoiding losses to acquiring equivalent gains. Just think about the FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) phenomenon!
FOMO was named by Dr. Dan Herman in 1996. He defined it as a “clearly fearful attitude towards the possibility of failing to exhaust available opportunities and missing the expected joy associated with succeeding in doing so.”
