One of my New Year’s resolutions was to extended my golf season until the end of November. This is why I was happy to discover PING‘s Autumn/Winter 2020 men’s apparel.
The collection sees PING expand its partnership with market-leading insulation brand, PrimaLoft®, for Autumn/Winter 2020, adding a wide range of premium, high-performing styles, including an updated Norse series.
Did you know PrimaLoft One has the highest warmth-to-weight ratio of any synthetic insulation currently on the market? It’s soft, durable, high-loft, and made from 100% polyester microfiber.
The range features revolutionary PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation with Cross Core™ Technology, alongside PING’s innovative Sensor platform, which is designed to ensure every garment is specifically engineered to respond to the body’s requirements and demands of the game.
“PrimaLoft Gold Insulation with Cross Core Technology fuses PrimaLoft Gold Insulation with Aerogel technology (originally developed by NASA), the gold standard in lightweight thermal protection, to reach new levels of warmth, in various conditions.
The new technology is said to provide up to 52% more warmth with the same weight, compared to PrimaLoft Gold Insulation. This allows PrimaLoft customers to achieve both enhanced warmth and decreased weight.
PrimaLoft Gold Insulation with Cross Core Technology also contains 35% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content.”
I think I will give a try either to Norse S2 Zoned Jacket (Price: £130) or Nordic (Price: £70; see picture below).
The collection’s trausers did not impress me much.
