Are you ready for Titleist’s virtual golf ball fitting consultations?

The COVID-19 pandemic forces service providers among them PGA Pros but brands among them Titleist to find alternative ways to connect with customers, golfers, etc.

Early this year I recommended to PGA of Canada to discuss in their educational program the notion/idea of conversational marketing to help their members to keep up the relationship with their golf customers.

Conversational marketing is a feedback-oriented approach that uses chatbots, live chat, and targeted messaging to foster genuine conversations and deliver value across channels.

WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger have succeeded to conquer the world, because of their mastered accessibility, engagement, simplicity, and trust. It’s redefined what SMS used to be and perfectly anchors itself into our mobile-obsessed lives.

In the first wave of the coronavirus/COVID-19, Zoom was the most popular solution for online meetings. Zoom said it expects sales as high as $1.8bn (£1.4bn) this year.

Virtual consultation is not a brand new idea to manage remote connections. Just think of telemedicine or eHealth services in the healthcare industry.

As I see virtual training has emerged as a go-to mechanism for brands and PGA Pros. The real serious sportsmen are using even virtual reality solutions to accelerate their training regimen.

I think it’s important to share this information with you because Titleist golf ball fitting virtual consultation is moving in that direction.

If at your golf club Trackman or Foresight Sports is available (or maybe Arccos Caddie Link) then you can speed up the golf ball fitting process (+get more precise recommendation) by sending the findings, reports to Titleist’s golf ball fitting expert.

Titelist says:

Virtual consultations will mirror the initial conversation a golfer would have with a Titleist fitter if they were at the course. This includes an in-depth assessment of the golfer’s game, analyzing their performance objectives, and personal preferences.

At the end of the video call, the fitter will provide recommended Titleist golf ball models that the golfer can test on the golf course using Titleist’s Golf Ball Fitting Evaluation Scorecard.

Virtual consultations are complimentary and scheduled for up to 30 minutes, allowing golfers time to ask any additional questions they have about golf ball performance and fitting.

By the way, you can also begin the fitting process by using the Titleist Golf Ball Selection tool on Titleist.com.
