How is Golf Pride celebrating the 60th anniversary of the film Goldfinger?

By: October 2, 2024

There isn’t a year that goes by without me watching the scene from the movie Goldfinger, which is set in Stoke Park.

Stoke Park‘s timeless beauty has graced the screens of numerous films, including Tomorrow Never Dies, Bridget Jones’ Diary, Layer Cake, Wimbledon, and RocknRolla, inspiring countless viewers with its picturesque charm.

If you share my passion for James Bond, I have some excellent news for you. Golf Pride has partnered with EON Productions to create a limited edition 007-themed golf grip kit.

This kit, which pays homage to the 60th anniversary of the 1964 film Goldfingerincludes 14 custom grips and a specially crafted gold bar collector display

The tuxedo-inspired grip represents the best of Bond, a tribute to the character’s impeccable style and refinement as he has evolved over the last six decades.

A 007 embossed surface pattern with lapels from the Goldfinger era merges seamlessly with a diamond-quilted design, evoking the white dress shirt of a modern secret agent.

A black grosgrain bow tie and gold accents complete the look, mirroring the pleasant style of GoldenEye.

Perfect for anyone who wants to manifest their inner James Bond, the kit retails for £189 and will be available for pre-sale on 007Store.com beginning October 1st.

James Ledford, President of Golf Pride, added

While James Bond always adheres to the strict rules of golf, these grips do not. Our goal with them was to have fun, push our design capability, and create a stylish product that captured the essence of Mr. Bond.

While we have achieved this goal, this product is non-conforming for competition play based on its design features rather than providing golfers with any unfair advantage.

To view the box, it is being displayed at The 007, Burlington Arcade, London, until December 31, 2024.
