The Cobbs Creek Foundation announced a grant award from the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation to construct a junior putting green on the revitalized Cobbs Creek Campus.
The $250,000 grant will provide all funding for a 20,000-square-foot Jordan Spieth Family Foundation Junior Putting Green, which will introduce young players to the game of golf.
The Junior Putting Green will be built outside the TGR Learning Lab, the educational center under construction on the Campus.
The TGR Learning Lab will provide year-round education programs for local youth and is being developed through the Cobbs Creek Foundation’s partnership with TGR Foundation, a Tiger Woods charity.
The Jordan Spieth Family Foundation Junior Putting Green and TGR Learning Lab are expected to be completed in 2025.
Annie Spieth of the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation says:
“Golf is a great vehicle to learn valuable life lessons, as well as receive comprehensive mentorship and support.
This area and its complimentary programming will be an avenue for transformative opportunities for young people. We are honored to lean into the history of Cobbs Creek as well as support its future.”
