2022 was a fantastic year for the Spanish Property Market, with record sales and a healthy market. According to my sources, the outlook for 2023 is set to be a little more stable, perhaps with some minor price decreases (cca. 1-3%), which is great news for prospective buyers on the Costa del Sol.
According to the Property Registrars’ Association, there were 10,919 transactions on the Costa del Sol in Q3 2022. The prices went up by 11% in the year to Q3, with resale prices experiencing a 13.5% uptick. This figure brings the year-on-year total to 41,898, an increase of 39.6%.
La Cala Resort & Taylor Wimpey Spain – extended cooperation
In the last 8 years, La Cala Resort and Taylor Wimpey Spain built over 400 homes from a total of seven different projects.
After the recent success of the ongoing ‘Solana Village’ project, Taylor Wimpey Spain has announced the renewal of its joint venture with the Irish company FBD Hotels and Resorts, owner of La Cala Resort.
This upcoming development will feature a total of more than 700 future homes, adding to the substantial real estate portfolio currently available at La Cala Resort.
The development of these projects is part of a plan to build 1,000 homes at La Cala Resort over the next decade.
La Cala Resort – Belaria – development
Aimed to be delivered at the end of 2024, the work on the first phase of ‘Belaria’ has already begun at La Cala Resort, with the finished development initially featuring a total of 21 modern and stylish townhouses.
