How can Troon uplift the Links at Perry Cabin to new heights?

For the past five years, KemperSports has operated the Links at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland. In 2019, legendary golf course architects Pete and Alice Dye completed the final design work, opening the Links at Perry Cabin’s Pete Dye Signature Course (par 72, 7,023 yards).

The developer, Richard Cohen, who owns Capital Properties, hired Pete Dye to redesign the golf course that would become the Links at Perry Cabin.

Along with the 18-hole championship venue, the golf operation currently includes a golf shop with 8 state-of-the-art HD Golf simulators and a Jim McLean Golf Academy on site with plans for a new clubhouse, driving range, and a world-class short game area.

In 2019, a Tennis at Perry Cabin by iconic Cliff Drysdale was launched. Troon acquired Cliff Drysdale Tennis in 2018, which is an interesting fact.

In 2019, Links at Perry Cabins joined Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest independent hotel brand, representing more than 700 distinctive hotels, resorts, residences, and unique hotel groups across 85 countries.

In the same year, Links at Perry Cabin joined the Preferred Golf Club, a collection of some of the world’s most renowned courses. These include Pebble Beach, Old Course at St Andrews, and The K Club in Ireland.

Troon Privé, Troon’s private club operating division, will manage golf operations, agronomy, sales and marketing, and on-course food and beverage.

Troon Vice President of Operations Archie Cart, PGA said

“Our Troon Privé management team will now look to further elevate the already tremendous operations at the Links at Perry Cabin. We are confident that our management practices and dedication to outstanding service will make an already exceptional property even better.”
