Over the past three years, NexxChange, an Austrian golf club management software company, has progressively expanded its market presence in Europe through strategic acquisitions and partnerships:
- 2021 – acquired the Dutch E-Golf4U;
- 2023- partnered with UGolf Bluegreen, Europe’s largest golf course operator.
NexxChange recently acquired Sysgolf SRL (since 1980), Italy’s prominent golf software company. The company caters to a clientele of more than 200 golf courses and currently boasts contracts with over 400.
NexxChange plans to incorporate Sysgolf’s solutions into its comprehensive, cross-border platform, which is engineered for European golf course operators.
Sysgolf’s distinguished features, including its world-class tournament management module and the widely embraced Gesgolf mobile application, which boasts an extensive user base of over 90,000 golfers in Italy, will soon become integral components of Nexxchange‘s Europe-wide ecosystem.
Sysgolf, the Italian market leader in golf software since 1989, services 222 golf courses. Their offerings include software solutions for golf courses and the Gesgolf app for golfers, a powerful tool that provides live tournament scoring and easy tee time booking.
The common wisdom on successful corporate acquisitions is to make them synergistic. Building on the preceding point, mere access to a marketplace does not ensure success; rather, establishing credibility within a marketplace leads to genuine results.
