In 2013 Publituris Portugal Travel Awards (Portugal's national tourism "Oscar" award) awarded Onyria Palmares Beach & Golf Resort in categories ‘Best Five-Star Hotel’ and ‘Best Golf Course’. This year the 27-hole complex was only awarded for the country's best golf course. At the same time Algarve received IAGTO's European Golf Destination of the Year for 2014.
I wish I could ask António Pinto Coelho the operations director what is their net promoter score (NPS)….Do they know how many loyal customers/members they already have? Will these people promote indeed this golf course/resort? What is the rate of "promoters", "passives" and "detractors"? This performance indicator is rarely mentioned when evaluating a golf course's performance.
