How did Dubai Golf & Viya Golf fare in the latest Golf World MENA Top 100 rankings?

How can a golf club improve its ranking in a competitive market where numerous other clubs perform similarly? I am sure that all of them are obsessed with exceeding their guests’ and members’ expectations.

I frequently counsel my clients on prioritizing the quality of the employee experience, retaining their top talent, and delivering high-quality service. In this manner, you can enhance your competitiveness.

It is essential to pay close attention to the following areas:

  • Work-life balance,
  • Mental health and wellbeing: mental health benefits are increasingly a top priority for organizations
  • Use technology to personalize employee experience. Every employee has unique needs, aspirations, and learning styles. This trend is about tailoring the workplace experience to fit the individual, not just the job role. AI and data analytics are leveraged to understand employee behaviors, preferences, and feedback, allowing for more customized and personalized management approaches.
  • Employee empowerment and autonomy: Employees entrusted with greater autonomy in their roles exhibit enhanced job satisfaction and a surge in innovative thinking. Nurture an environment where initiative and creativity aren’t just welcomed but celebrated.

I believe it’s crucial to express this because the development of the employee experience still lacks the attention it truly deserves. Attractive company culture and employee experience can make golf club jobs more appealing.

Let’s look at Dubai Golf and Viya Golf’s latest successes.

Yas Acres Golf and Country Club - 8th Approach Dubai Golf

Dubai Golf and Viya Golf clubs have succeeded in the latest Golf World MENA Top 100 rankings. Yas Links in Abu Dhabi retained its top spot at #1.

In this latest rankings list from Golf World, Emirates Golf Club’s Majlis Course has risen from 9th to 3rd place, and Jumeirah Golf Estates’ Earth Course has jumped from 14th to 7th.

Meanwhile, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club have also moved forward in the rankings, now standing at 10th and 11th, respectively.

Yas Acres Golf and Country Club, a new entry in the rankings, debuts at 53rd and is the best-rated 9-hole course in the MENA region.

Dubai Golf CEO, Christopher May said:

“This recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the teams at each of our clubs, particularly the agronomy teams whose relentless commitment to maintaining exceptional course conditions has been crucial to our success.

Through continuous investments, such as the new state-of-the-art irrigation system at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, we are able to further enhance our product offering and elevate the experience for all golfers.”
