The ‘Golf Influencers & Fans’ interactive event at the PGA National Resort will include what?

By: September 30, 2024

Influencer Intelligence’s Influencer Marketing 2024 found brands place greater trust in influencers. 57% of respondents stated that influencers have helped create content that they have used on their brand’s owned channels.

The third (33%) found the most remarkable success when trusting an influencer and giving them creative freedom with content creation.

It’s not unexpected. Creating meaningful and valuable content is essential for nurturing relationships with guests and members. The challenge of creating content consistently is related to this.

Micro-influencers remain most popular with 77% of respondents; celebrities have fallen back in favor, with over half of respondents (54%) working with them.

Similar attention has been paid to top-tier (54%) and nano influencers (52%). 2024 looks to follow suit, with a similarly broad mix of attention placed across these tiers.

Awareness is still the dominant required output, with 79% of respondents drawing on engagement data such as comments, shares, etc.

For 46% of respondents, product sales are a key indicator of a campaign’s success.

The decision to collaborate with multiple influencers at the PGA National Resort was a strategic one by the organizers. Here are the details of the event.

It is important to remember this as the ‘Golf Influencers and Fans’ Interactive Event is fast approaching at PGA National Resort.

The PGA National Resort is now showcasing the stunning results of its recent $100 million transformation – announces it will host a first-of-its-kind interactive fan event featuring popular golf influencer stars from both Good Good Golf and Barstool’s Fore Play Pod.

YouTube Golf has exploded in popularity, and the PGA Tour even got in on the action with its “Creator Classic” ahead of the TOUR Championship at East Lake.

The event drew over 100,000 live viewers and 2.1M total viewers since the event.

PGA National Resort will host the next big event in the YouTube Golf space, but it will have a twist compared to those that have come before it.

On November 3, PGA National Resort will host the “Fore Good Scramble.”

This is the first live event that brings together two of the pre-eminent organizations in YouTube Golf: Good Good Golf and Fore Play.

The live event will feature the two groups creating teams of four scrambling on the back 9 of The Champions Course at PGA National Resort.

You can attend live (tickets here) or view it on Good Good’s YouTube channel. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Play Yellow and The First Tee.

On the heels of the Fore Good Scramble, on November 3 – 6,  PGA National Resort will host the “Battle For Palm Beach” – a 36-hole, two-man scramble – with 50 teams competing for the title.

Good Good and Foreplay will continue their presence on-site and join in on the action so golfers from around the country can see how their skills compare to those of famous YouTubers.

While on the property, guests may enjoy six culinary concepts and three signature restaurants, including

  • The Butcher’s Club, spearheaded by “Top Chef” winner Jeremy Ford and Honeybelle, with its seasonal American cuisine helmed by multiple James Beard Award nominee Chef Lindsay Autry.
  • Sushi by Bou, a modern speakeasy-inspired culinary concept known for reimagining the omakase experience, is the latest restaurant to open at PGA National Resort.
  • For a retro-Americana dining experience, Birdie’s Diner serves nostalgic diner favorites with an upscale twist.
