For those who are not familiar with this kind of golf here is the essence of speedgolf:
It is a faster version the classic golf where you can play a full 18 holes in under 80 minutes, or 9 holes in under 40 minutes by jogging between shots. The aim is to achieve the lowest possible sum of shots combined with the time taken to run the golf course.
If you like the idea then you've got a great opportunity to test yourself. 2015 British Open Speedgolf Championship will take place on August 16, at Dale Hill Golf Club, in East Sussex – and a Speedgolf taster session will be staged on June 29, also at Dale Hill Golf Club.
Organisers of the events will be dressed head to toe in Royal & Awesome's patriotic Trew Brit design while the championship winners will also be rewarded with a pair of the dazzling trews.
And if you want to be really nice as a participant, you can give £10 to Sparks, the children's medical research charity – and compete against golfers across the UK in the Kriss Akabusi Speed King National Leader Board, also supported by Royal & Awesome.
