Odyssey Golf has just announced the launch of Odyssey Works putter line. Although it will be available nationwide (US) only from January 30, 2015, but I assume I will be able to try it on the demo day at the coming PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. The new product introduction price starts at $179.99.
Odyssey Golf developed a new insert called Fusion RX insert that combines White Hot insert with ultra thin (406mm) stainless steel mesh (see picture below) + Metal-X roll pattern. The developers and let's say us can expect reduced skidding. Actually it is a good idea. The golf balls' dimple will be able to fit into the "net" of this mesh and this way we will have more control over the ball.
